Deadliest Catch captains hook live shows in Australia Alaskan crab fishermen from Discovery Channel’s global hit television series Deadliest Catch will tell their stories live on stage, up close and uncut, in Australia for the first time during August and September.
The Captains Tour is a live show bringing the toughest captains from the Bering Sea – Sig Hansen and the Hillstrand brothers, Johnathan and Andy – to Australian audiences in an interactive event.
"Over the years we have compiled what we feel are the most interesting, shocking, emotional and funny true tales, to be revealed to our fans,” Captain Sig Hansen said.
“Think of spending a night at a pub with the three of us where we share unbelievable stories along with never seen before photos and videos of our personal and professional lives,” he said. “You will get a first hand and in depth understanding of the danger, thrill and excitement of all aspects of our lives.
“We risk life and death as fishermen on the Bering Sea, but those Alaskan high seas are all we know.”
The Captains Tour will travel to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Penrith, Newcastle, Brisbane, Mackay and Townsville, starting mid-August.
It is preceded by the new season premiere of Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel on Wednesdays at 8.30pm (AEST) from July 13. After a record-breaking, heartbreaking season last year, the Emmy® award-winning Deadliest Catch returns with new blood, old wounds and rivalries that never die.
