Dine with 14-time Tour de France veteran Jens Voigt and celebrities at the 2018 Tour de Cure Eve Celebrity Dinner on Thursday, April 26. The inaugural Mackay dinner with riders and support crew is a unique opportunity not to be missed.
Share a table with some of the 120 riders and support crew who will be departing Mackay Marina the following day for the 2018 Tour de Cure Signature Tour. The 1100km ride over nine days, trekking to Cape Tribulation before arriving back in Cairns on May 5, will raise funds to help find a cure for cancer.
The dinner, hosted by Channel 7’s Tom Williams, will feature German cyclist Jens Voigt. Other special guests speaking on night include Mark Beretta, from Sunrise, James Tobin, from Weekend Sunrise, and Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson.
Tickets price includes two course meal, doors open at 6pm.

Come down to cheer on riders and support crew when the 2018 Tour de Cure Signature Tour departs from the Mackay Marina on Friday, April 27. Don’t miss the opportunity to see celebrity guests, including Mark Beretta, from Sunrise, James Tobin, from Weekend Sunrise, as well as 14-time Tour de France veteran Jens Voigt.
There will also be Star FM Morning show presented by Rob Kidd as a live outside broadcast, with events from 6am until 9am.
Be there to farewell the 120 riders and 45 support crew taking part in the 1100km, nine-day ride to Cape Tribulation and back to Cairns to help raise funds for cancer research. A kids’ fun run will also be held at the harbour to help raise funds for the cause.
