The Just Saying Project presents JSP Women's Awards 2024

Before purchasing tickets, please read the Terms & Conditions.

Join us for a night of storytelling and celebration at the JSP Women’s Awards 2024.

Now in its third year the JSP Women’s Awards is more than an awards night it is about women and their stories.

These awards are a platform to acknowledge the contribution women make to our region every day.

Women in our region not only create magic in their communities, homes, and businesses, they are also the beacons of light who bring joy, strength and passion.

Joining us this year as the Keynote Storyteller is Claire Christian.

Claire will bring her bright, unapologetic, brilliant self to the stage and speak to embracing who we are, body positivity and finding the things in life that give us pleasure.

Claire tells stories: she is a writer, theatre maker and facilitator based in Meanjin. She has three novels published with Text publishing. Beautiful Mess, which won the 2016 Text Prize (released in 2017), It’s Been A Pleasure, Noni Blake (released in 2020), and West Side Honey (released April 2023).

Enjoy a drink on arrival, a delicious main course along with entertainment from Mango Junction.

There are seven award categories which will be announced on the night:

  • Magic Muse
  • Health and Wellbeing Warrior
  • Mother of All Mothers
  • Resilient Rebel
  • The Rising Star
  • The Woman Who Breaks the Mould
  • The Equaliser

Thanks to our incredible sponsors including our Presenting partners Daly Bay.

The Just Saying Project (JSP) is a community that brings joy, strength, and purpose to a new wave of women.

Whether it’s through awards, cabaret theatre shows, a coffee table book, photographic exhibitions, panel and speaker sessions, interactive workshops and even a real-body runway, each project and event promote honest and uplifting conversations.

Through our events and community projects, JSP is changing the lives of women and has become a leading platform for women to explore who they are but also raise a voice to the issues and passions that are important to women.
